1 Insignia-Class Captain's Yacht (embedded in ventral saucer)
A medium- to long-ranged craft that can act independently of its origin vessel. It can be used by the captain to get away from the stresses of command, shuttle VIPs or be used on away missions that the captain needs only to attend. Much like the Sovereign class the Insignia's yacht is safely tucked away near the forward torpedo array. Unlike the Sovereign's, it has been outfitted for a more multirole operation, rather than strictly the captain and VIP shuttle. The tactical abilities have been uprated to compensate for the possible missions into hostile territory, the aft compartment has been made module and advances in propulsion has made it faster.
Cockpit has a similar layout, albeit shorter, layout than the Danube runabout. Not constructed to facilitate multiple Starfleet officers, it has a station for both pilot and operations with both stations capable of performing tactical and scientific functions. To make use of space there is a stand up console for the 2-person transporter that can be rotated 180-degrees where certain functions can be transferred to a third flight officer.
Amidships there is a modular compartment that serves as a flight lounge for passengers and crew. A number of couches, chairs and replicator service allows for a comfortable flight. Like the lounge the aft compartment contains access corridor with two VIP staterooms on either side with bunk beds and minimal furnishings. In the aft is the captain's cabin which has nearly twice the amount of room of a single stateroom. Each VIP stateroom can sleep 2 people comfortably in bunks and there is a queen-sized bed in the captain's cabin.

Tactical: 6 Type-VI phasers (2-fore arcs, 1-dorsal, 1-ventral, 2-aft arcs), 2 micro-torpedo launchers (fore), regenerative-shielding, tritanium/deuranium hull with emergency forcefields generators
Power: 5500-millicochrane warp core transferring power to two lateral nacelles, one impulse reactor driving 2 750-millicochrane impulse engines
Speed: Warp 5.2 (cruise), 5.7 max (12-hours); 0.25c impulse power; standard RCS thruster assemblies
